Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
EasyNest is operated by Marco Dumbleton in South Africa. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use EasyNest, including information you add about your business and customers.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account or use EasyNest, including:
- your name, email address and encrypted account password;
- your business details, such as company name, address, VAT number, logo and banking details;
- customer details and document content you choose to add, such as names, contact details, addresses, quotes and invoices; and
- support requests and feedback you send to us.
We also collect limited technical and usage information to keep EasyNest secure and improve it. This can include device and browser information, IP-derived security signals, pages visited and product events.
Why we use information
We use information to provide EasyNest, secure accounts and sign-ups, generate your documents, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and understand which parts of the product need improvement.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your customers' details to market to them.
Service providers
EasyNest uses carefully selected providers to run the service. Depending on the feature used, these include Vercel for hosting, Neon for database infrastructure, Resend for transactional email, Cloudflare for security checks, Paystack for subscription payments, and PostHog and Google Analytics for product and website analytics. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect the service. We also use analytics tools to understand website and product usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of EasyNest from working.
How long we keep information
We keep account and workspace information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed for security, legal, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated workspace data by emailing us.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to certain processing. To make a request, email help@easy-nest.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
EasyNest aims to process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You may also raise a concern with the South African Information Regulator.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including authentication, encrypted password storage, verification controls and access checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials private.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when EasyNest changes or legal requirements evolve. We will publish the revised version here and update the date above.
